 This course will provide students with the basic exegetical tools required to interpret and appropriate the biblical texts of Acts and  Romans. 

The student will learn to recognize and work with the different literary genres of the Bible and will gain an overview of various hermeneutical approaches to Scripture. 

In the process, the student will be introduced to various research tools, methods, resources, and practical skills for interpreting the Bible well in our contemporary context. 

The class also aims to investigate the main messages of Acts and Romans in their original contexts. Students will have an opportunity  to learn how, why, 

and for what the authors of  Acts and  Romans present the gospel  to the original readers

이 과목은 학생들에게 사도행전과 로마서의 성경 본문을 해석하고 적용하는 데 필요한 기본적인 해석학적 수단들을 제공할 것이다. 학생들은 성경의 다양한 문학적 장르를 다루는 방법을 배우게 되며, 이를 통해 성경에 대한 다양한 해석학적 접근을 살펴볼 수 있게 될 것이다. 이러한 과정을 통해 학생들은 다양한 연구 방안과 자료들, 그리고 성경을 우리의 현대 사회에 적절하게 적용할 수 있는 실천적 기술을 터득하게 될 것이다. 학생들은 또한 이 과정을 통해 특별히 사도행전과 로마서에 나타난 복음의 메시지는 물론, 사도행전과 로마서의 저자들이 그의 독자들에게 어떻게, 왜, 무슨 목적으로 복음의 메시지를 제시하고 있는지를 배울 수 있는 좋은 기회를 갖게 될 것이다. 

본 과목은 조직신학의 영역들 중에서 신학서론과 신론의 내용들을 개혁신학의 관점에서 연구한다.  이를 위하여 먼저 개신교회, 복음주의 안에서의 개혁신학의 자리매김을 하고, 개혁신학의 원리들을 살펴본다. 조직신학 서론에 해당하는 성경론에 초점을 맞춰서 연구하되, 계시와 성경론, 특히 영감론과 성경무오교리 등 살펴본다.

신론에서는 하나님의 존재와 속성들을 살피되, 고유적 속성들과 보편적 속성들을 차례로 고찰한다. 특히 삼위일체 교리를 연구하며, 창조교리와 하나님의 영원한 구원계획을 B.B. Warfield의 저서를 중심으로 연구한다. 

This course provides a thematic survey of the Acts of the Apostles and of the Pauline Epistles, focusing specifically on the redemptive-historical significance of this portion of the New Testament canon. Topics covered include: the main theological themes of Acts, the relationship between Acts and Paul’s letters, and a survey of Pauline theology.
